The Monk Batucada is the newest addition to the GSM roster and we are happy to have them with us. The band was founded by Boston born bassist and producer Gasoline Monk. The Monk Batucada started as a one man project exploring brazilian music with love for everything psychedelic. In the last couple of years the band has played numerous shows and growing in numbers every time. Later this year the group will release their 3rd album “Gimme A Visa” and now you can listen to the first single “Abrir”.
